Evie's Easel Decorative Faux Painting is a family-owned and operated business.    Owner, Eva Musquiz, has over 10 years experience in faux finishes and effects apprenticing for several years while taking numerous classes and instruction in faux and decorative techniques, effects, transitions and design.  Eva has an innate passion for textures, designs and transformations.  Her background includes more than just paint on walls, but includes mosaics, watercolor, and acrylics on canvas.  Eva’s abstract and still life art and mosaics now have representation throughout the U.S. and Canada, with current displays in Philadelphia galleries.

In 2002, Eva decided to start her own faux finish business and established Evie's Easel. She has numerous references with an ever growing referral business including a dozen homes in the Frisco Lakes Community in Frisco, Pearson Farms community in Frisco, Willow Bend in Plano, Bent Tree, Highland Park and Prestonwood in Dallas among her clients. Eva's husband, Cam, joined her in her  business in 2006.  Cam is an accomplished stained glass   artist and woodworking craftsman in his  own right.  In addition, his handyman  skills have been a blessing when clients  need additional services at the job - like  moving ceiling outlets, patching walls and  sheetrock, installing new moulding,    installing new light fixtures or ceiling fans  and repairing tile or putting up wallpaper.
